Peradventure Atalanta the Black Wizard and her husband, Harold the Red Wizard, provide the party with some more information about the ancient race of the Irda, since fallen into corruption and known as Ogres, the first peoples of Krynn and the first beloved of the gods.   A shorter, transition session found the party finally deciding to head out from Long Ridge, sicking out the relative urbanity of Haven, where Amity and Crowsfoot hail from both, and where they hope to find further information on the history of the ancient peoples they have uncovered. Rhona and Elka are convinced to leave town with them, with Rhona leaving most of her riches for the town of Long Ridge to defend itself with.  Along the way, they stop in the town of Trellmont, looking to stay at an inn which some of their members had stayed at previously, but this time the accommodations are all in use from a merchant caravan passing through the area. Lunethalas spends some spare gold on the few items of interest the merchant seems most proud of. Amity eats seriously. Though the party is offered lodgings at the home of a local farmer, she turns it down immediately. Breadington assists skillfully in the kitchen. This time, with all of the villagers retrieved that will be, purely for their own enrichment.  Kirlov cheerfully tests out the MAGIC RING the party discovered last time, only for the equipped finger to transform into a poisonous, bifurcated claw. Eager to find an enemy to use it against, the push into the second level of the tomb, which seems a much more serious bit of construction, and truly ancient. They discover a statue of the Ancient Peoples askew and behind it a secret door, claiming a few polearms and a mysterious, ominous religious icon.   Player Characters Amity, Light Fighter 1 Kirilov, Neutral Cleric 1 Lunethalas, Dark Elf 1 Breadington, Light Dwarf 1 Hangers-on Rhona, Neutral Ranger 1, joins in the middle. Peradventure Instead of heading home immediately as planned, the party decide to try to secure the body from the foot of the minotaur statue without approaching closely enough to become its next victims. Amity's grappling hook toss is accurate but proves to be enough to provoke the crumbling stone minotaur back into movement, slicing the rope with its massive stone axe and then immediately displaying its power by cracking apart a large stone pillar into dust with that same axe. The party flee back to town with thier prepared carts, settling for just the two bodies. Back in Long Ridge, the townsfolk are waiting for them - including Elka Reed, the adult maiden daughter of the woman whose body was recovered, and Rhoswen Bauer, the wife of one of the villagers whose body was *not* recovered.
